Firstly a reminder that Strikeforce: Nashville happens this saturday April 17, 2010 and it’s free on CBS.

The main event of this fight is a big mismatch, not quite a Silva vs Maia or Penn vs Edgar (oops) underdog, but pretty bad.  Dan Henderson is a big 185 fighter, while Jake Shields is a small 170lb fighter.  How is Shields ever going to hang with Henderson.  In my opinion this is Jake Shield’s last fight in Strikeforce before he enters the UFC, and he will go out on a loss.

Gegard Mousasi vs Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal is a very interesting and much anticipated fight.  There really hasn’t been tough competition for King Mo, so we’ll have to see how he does against a stud like Mousasi.  In the end I believe the Gegard will be way too experienced and talented than King Mo, and should win by submission fairly quick.

Shinya Aoki is an underdog vs Gilbert Melendez.  Even without his rainbow pants, I would pick Aoki.  His submission skills are sick, and he definitely will not get into a standup match with Gilbert.  Very good underdog pick here in Aoki.

In the other televised bout Jason “Mayhem” Miller is an overwhelming favourite and theres a reason why.  -1000 is way too low to bet, no point betting this fight.
