Here are my picks for UFC 109 Relentless

MAIN CARD

• Mark Coleman vs. Randy Couture
• Nate Marquardt vs. Chael Sonnen
• Mike Swick vs. Paulo Thiago
• Demian Maia vs. Dan Miller
• Matt Serra vs. Frank Trigg

PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV)

• Justin Buchholz vs. Mac Danzig
• Melvin Guillard vs. Ronnys Torres

PRELIMINARY CARD (Un-aired)

• Rob Emerson vs. Phillipe Nover
• Phil Davis vs. Brian Stann
• Tim Hague vs. Chris Tuchscherer
• Joey Beltran vs. Rolles Gracie

The main event should be a gimme.  I don’t think Mark Coleman has anything left and Randy “The Natural” Couture should naturally hammer the hammer.

Nate Marquardt is hungry and looking very good.  Chael Sonnen impressed me a lot his last fight.  I’d still say Nate will take this fight though.

For some reason I still think Paulo Thiago gets off some lucky shots and wins, and for some reason I always underestimate Mike “Quick” Swick.  I won’t underestimate him this time, take Mike Swick.

Matt Serra vs Frank Trigg, two guys that aren’t really that great.  I’d rather go with twinkle toes on this one, Trigg with the upset.

Demian Maia will catch Dan Miller with something, Miller gets sloppy and his new bjj black belt is nowhere near Demian’s.

Justin Bucholz over Mac Danzig is a strong upset opportunity at +300.  Danzig lost interest in fighting recently and just sat around for several months.  I think he wants to grab one more paycheck before bowing out of  competitive fighting.

Chris Tuchscherer is a fighter to look out for and I guess the odds makers know that as well as he is the favourite.  Only way to take him down is to hit him in the balls.  Tim Hague is a tough cookie though.
