The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale

MAIN CARD (Spike TV)
- Michael Bisping vs. Jason “Mayhem” Miller
- Dennis Bermudez vs. Diego Brandao (“TUF 14″ featherweight finale)
- John Dodson vs. T.J. Dillashaw (“TUF 14″ bantamweight finale)

PRELIMINARY CARD (Facebook)
- Marcus Brimage vs. Stephan Bass
- John Albert vs. Dustin Pague
- Roland Delorme vs. Josh Ferguson
- Josh Clopton vs. Steven Siler
- Bryan Caraway vs. Dustin Neace
After what was undeniably one of the best seasons of the ultimate fighter, the bantamweights and featherweights, along with their coaches will duel it out to be crowned the TUF season 14 champion(s).
Jason Mayhem Miller talks a lot of trash and dwells on the fact that Bisping got KTFO by Dan Henderson many fights ago. I don’t know what Jason is yapping about, when is the last time he knocked anybody out? Other than beating has-beens and cans, there hasn’t been too much to brag about. Annoying as Bisping is, it does look like he will shut his opponent up.
John Dodson is damn quick, and T.J. Dillashaw is pretty damn quick himself. These guys are very evenly matched, and definitely the top 2 of this weight class. TJ has the size though, and his well rounded game appears more solid than Dodson. Though he ducked Dodson during the series, it looks like it will pay off in the end.
Diego Brandao is simply wow. Though Dennis can take a shot, many shots actually, Diego bangs harder than any other fighter on the show. No contest in this one unless Dennis manages the take down Brandao and humps him for 3 rounds.
Why is Yves Edwards still fighting? So that we can watch Tony Ferguson knock him out.
Looks like Bodog will be the place to bet on TUF 14, they are the only sportsbook so far with lines for all 4 main event fights.

The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale
Date: Jun 04, 2011
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Venue: The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort
Broadcast: Spike TV
MAIN CARD
- Tony Ferguson vs. Ramsey Nijem (TUF 13 finale)
- Clay Guida vs. Anthony Pettis
- Kyle Kingsbury vs. Fabio Maldonado
- Chris Cope vs. Chuck O’Neil
- Tim Credeur vs. Ed Herman
PRELIMINARY CARD
- Danny Downes vs. Jeremy Stephens
- Josh Grispi vs. George Roop
- Reuben Duran vs. Francisco Rivera
- Scott Jorgensen vs. Ken Stone
- Justin Edwards vs. Clay Harvison
- Shamar Bailey vs. Ryan McGillivray
After a very exciting episode of semifinal action on TUF13, we have our finalists: Tony Ferguson and Ramsey Nijem, who were without a doubt the best 2 in the competition and should be a fun card to bet on ufc.
Tony Ferguson had by far the best standup in the house, accurate, technical, and with some pop. Ramsey Nijem was by far the most well rounded, and could finish his opponent in various ways. For this reason I believe that Ramsey will win. We never got to see Tony’s ground game, or even takedown defence, but saw many times were he motioned for his opponent to get up when down, thus demonstrating his reluctance to ground and pound. Ramsey will take him down with his lunge hook, hook, shoot combo and keep him down for good.
We finally get to see Anthony Pettis in action again, and they gave him a tough opponent to go at. Clay is tough as nails, but lacks the creativity and technicals that Pettis possesses. Hopefully in his UFC debut, we will get to see another highlight finish, as there is nothing Clay can do to have it go the other way.
Fabio Maldonado had a nice UFC debut after TKO’ing James McSweeny in October. Kyle Kingsbury won quickly last time out, but before that was just marginal at best. Fabio by KO in this one as he has a better training camp with the Noguiera brothers.
Chris Cope doesn’t have any offensive game, but he can take a punch and has good takedown defence. Chuck O’Neil can take a punch as well, but will throwdown, although sloppy. History has shown that Cope won’t do much to earn points, so look for Chuck to land more shots and win a 3 rounder.
Tim Credeur hasn’t fought in a year and a half, octagon rust for sure. Ed Herman hasn’t fought well in 2.5 years. Herman should win, but doesn’t look to be an exciting match. Not sure why this fight is on the main card, I’m sure viewers would rather see Jeremy Stephens on here.
And very exciting news announced today as Georges St-Pierre will fight Nick Diaz at UFC 137 on Oct 29 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch

Broadcast: Pay-per-view
MAIN CARD
- Jon Fitch vs. B.J. Penn
- Michael Bisping vs. Jorge Rivera
- Dennis Siver vs. George Sotiropoulos
- Chris Lytle vs. Brian Ebersole
- Chris Camozzi vs. Kyle Noke
PRELIMINARY CARD
- Spencer Fisher vs. Ross Pearson

- Riki Fukuda vs. Nick Ring
- Mark Hunt vs. Chris Tuchscherer
- Maciej Jewtuszko vs. Curt Warburton
- Tom Blackledge vs. Anthony Perosh
- Jason Reinhardt vs. Tiequan Zhang
UFC returns to Australia for UFC127 which a nice night (day for Australians) of fighting. Also starting with this event, MMA Betting.net will be providing the best lines for you to bet on each of the fights at our partnered online betting sites.
Has BJ Penn returned for good? After his lethargic title performances, BJ comes back and absolute destroys an aging Matt Hughes. Jon Fitch is the favourite in this fight and deservingly so, he fights a consistently good fight each time out. I would go with the safer fighter here as you still don’t know which BJ shows up and Fitch is a good enough fighter to beat a good BJ.
Bet on Jon Fitch over BJ Penn at Sportsbook.com -200 or Bet on BJ Penn over Jon Fitch at 5Dimes +170
Not too many thought that Jorge Rivera would ever participate in a co main event, but he’s been on an absolute tear lately and definitely deserves a showcased fight against Michael Bisping. These two are pretty evenly matched in terms of fight skills, but according to oddsmakers they are polar opposites. The lines on Jorge Rivera are way too good to pass up and he is very capable of shutting Bisping up. I would strongly consider making a play on Rivera here.
Bet on Jorge Rivera over Michael Bisping at Sportsbook.com +300 or Bet on Michael Bisping over Jorge Rivera at Bodog -340
Dennis Siver is one individual who I would never want to fight, he is built like a tank and can probably kick over a tree. George Sotiropoulos is just plain awesome and is my choice to be the title holder before the end of the year. Oddsmakers feel the same way as he is a heavy favourite. Gamblers may be enticed to make a play on Siver as he is good enough to win, but my pick is on George for whom I do not believe will lose a fight in 2011 (he has not lost a fight since 2006).
Bet on George Sotiropoulos over Dennis Siver at 5Dimes -330 or Bet on Dennis Siver over George Sotiropoulos at Bodog +315
Kyle Noke and Chris Camozzi never ended up meeting during the Ultimate Fighter Team Ortiz vs Team Liddell though both were favourites to win the show. Noke is a slight favorite here with also the home town crowd to cheer him on. Noke appears to be the safer bet in this fight.
Bet on Kyle Noke over Chris Camozzi at BetUS -190 or Bet on Chris Camozzi over Kyle Noke at Sportsbook.com +175
As of posting there are no lines for Chris Lytle vs Brian Ebersole as Brian was a late replacement for Carlos Condit, which would have been a great standup slugfest and most likely fight of the night. It would be difficult to see how Eversole can beat Lytle though with the way “Lights Out” has been fighting as of late. This will be Brian Ebersole’s UFC debut so I don’t know too much about him.

UFC Fight Night 23: UFC Fight for the Troops 2
Date: Jan 22, 2011
Location: Killeen, Texas
Venue: Fort Hood
Broadcast: Spike TV
UFC Fight Night 23 Odds from Sportsbook.com
MAIN CARD
- Evan Dunham -260 vs. Melvin Guillard +200
- Tim Hague +200 vs. Matt Mitrione -260
- Mark Hominick -215 vs. George Roop +175
- Pat Barry -200 vs. Joey Beltran +160
- Cole Miller -170 vs. Matt Wiman +140
PRELIMINARY CARD
- Yves Edwards vs. Cody McKenzie
- Mike Guymon vs. DaMarques Johnson
- Mike Brown vs. Rani Yahya
- Willamy “Chiquerim” Freire vs. Waylon Lowe
- Amilcar Alves vs. Charlie Brenneman
- Chris Cariaso vs. Will Campuzano
The first free UFC card of 2011, should be a nice competitive night of fights.
Evan Dunham vs Melvin Guillard will definitely be a great fight. Evan was robbed in his last fight and will be very hungry to win and to finish. Melvin might have been comback fighter of the year in 2010. Problem is that Melvin has often had problems with all around good fighters and thats what Dunham is. Take Evan to win this one.
Tim Hague has been brought back into the UFC to fight Matt Mitrione. Too bad it is doubtful his stay will last too long. Mitrione should win this heavyweight fight with ease.
Mark Hominick makes his UFC debut at featherweight awaiting the return of former Ultimate Fighter cast member George Roop. The winner of this fight will most likely get the title shot afterwards. George Roop is good, with a devastating head kick (ask the Korean Zombie), but he’s not a consistant winner like Hominick. Hominick has winning streaks while Roop doesn’t. Go with Hominick here.
Pat Barry vs Joey Beltran should be a pretty decent fight as well. Coming off injury Barry is looking to kick his way back to the winners circle. I would go with Pat Barry to KO Beltran here, he should have taken out CroCop but got sloppy.
Cole Miller is on a high note right now after taking care of business of TUF winner Ross Pearson. Matt Wiman is coming off his controversial win over Mac Danzig. Wiman is another fight who cannot consistently win, while Miller looks like he is putting it all together. Skinny Miller will look for a nice sub vicotry over Wiman.

The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale
Date: Dec 04, 2010
Location: Las Vegas, Nev.
Venue: Palms Casino Resort
Broadcast: Spike TV
TUF12 odds are brought to you by Sportsbook.com
- Stephan Bonnar -220 vs. Igor Pokrajac +180
- Finalist No. 1 vs. Finalist No. 2
- Kendall Grove +285 vs. Demian Maia -365
- Rick Story +180 vs. Johny Hendricks -220
- Ian Loveland vs. Tyler Toner
- Will Campuzano vs. Nick Pace
- Pablo Garza vs. Fredson Paixao
- Rich Attonito vs. Dave Branch
Countering Strikeforce Henderson vs Babalu, Dana White has decided to have TUF12 Finale the same night, Dec 04. It is still undecided who the finalists will be, but the 2hour season finale will show the semi final fights between Team GSP fighters Kyle Watson vs Jonathan Brookins and Team GSP’s Michael Johnson vs Team Koscheck’s Nam Phan.
After taking care of business in the rematch vs Krzysztof Soszynski, Stephan Bonner appears to be given an easier fight in the form of Igor Pokrajac. Pokrajac’s only win has come against James Irwin, and anybody can beat him. There should be no reason when Stephan can’t get himself back to back wins, something he hasn’t done since 2007.
Kendell Grove has been a win one lose one type of fighter. Since he won his last fight vs Goran Reljic, he will probably lose the upcoming fight to Demian Maia. But I guess that is not the only reason why he will lose to Maia, Maia is tough with his only losses coming against Anderson Silva and Nate Marquardt. Now Kendall’s biggest downfall is taking a punch and has not lost in a long time to a submission. Demian can’t punch. I would take a chance at an upset here and take Kendall Grove over Demian Maia. At +285 very much worth a shot.
Rick Story is on an impressive 4 fight win streak and Johny Hendricks is on an impressive 4 fight win streak (6 if you include WEC). Its time for somebody’s win streak to fall and this will be a battle against two similar fighters. Usually when two fighters are similar I would take the underdog as it adds more value to your pick. In this case it would be Story. But in this case I think that Hendricks is the better fighter, and his skills in each factor are a little bit better.
Will post the Ultimate Fighter 2 finalists odds when it has been determined.
